Product Overview

The Australian Crown was used in the Commonwealth of Australia prior to decimalisation in 1966. This sterling silver coin was only minted in 1937 and 1938 and was worth five shillings.

The Crown is handcrafted into a substantial ring with "1937, One Crown & Commonwealth of Australia" on the outer band. The inner band reads "GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP." meaning "George the Sixth, By the Grace of God, King of all Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India"

This ring is crafted from a large coin and can only be made in sizes 11 (US W) (EU 65) and up. The width of the band is approximately 13mm. The ring pictured is a size Z (US 12.5)(EU 69), your ring will look slightly different depending on what size you order.
