Product Overview

The Australian 50c piece was introduced at Australia's changeover to decimal currency in 1966. Minted in 80% silver, the red kangaroo and emu of Australia's coat of arms feature on the ring along with the number 50.

The ring pictured is a size W (11) but we craft these coins into rings from size Q - Z+1 (8 - 13). The band is approx. 9mm wide.

While the coin this particular ring is made from is mostly silver, it also contains copper which in some cases can cause a harmless, washable mark on your finger.
