I don't know my ring size. What should I do?

If you're unsure of your ring size, simply select "Send me a ring sizer" from the size options when placing your order.

We'll reserve your chosen coin and send you a free ring sizer. Once you've measured your finger, just email us your size and we'll begin crafting your ring.

Alternatively, you can purchase one of our ring sizers for €10, which includes a €10 discount code towards any ring.

Please don't use string to measure your finger, as it isn't accurate enough for achieving the best fit.

I'd like a ring made from a coin from a specific country or year, but I can't find it on your website.

We'd love to help. Please get in touch if you're looking for a particular country, year, or coin that isn't listed on our website. We'll let you know if it's available or if we can source one for you.

My ring doesn't fit. Can it be resized?

In most cases, yes.

Coin rings can usually be resized by up to two UK sizes (approximately one US size) larger or smaller.

We offer free resizing—we simply ask that you cover the return postage. Please contact us to arrange this.

Where are you based? Can I buy your rings in a shop?

We're based in County Wexford, Ireland.

Because every ring is individually handcrafted to order, our rings are not available in retail shops. Celtic Coin Craft rings are available exclusively through our website.

Can you make a ring from my own coin?

Yes, provided the coin is suitable.

Whether a coin can be made into a ring depends on its size, metal composition, and condition. If you'd like to use your own coin, please get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss the options.

You can also read more about what makes a coin suitable in our blog.

Why aren't more years of Irish coins available?

The best coins for making rings are those with a high silver content.

Many Irish coins were minted from copper and nickel. Because some people are sensitive to nickel, it can cause skin irritation. Copper-rich coins may also leave a temporary green or dark mark on your finger.

For this reason, we don't list rings made from nickel-containing coins on our website.

If you're looking for a specific year, please contact us - we may still be able to help.

The ring I want isn't available in my size. Can you make it?

Possibly.

Some rings can be made in sizes beyond those listed on the product page. Please contact us with your required size and we'll let you know what's possible.

How much is shipping?

We offer free worldwide shipping on all rings.

Every ring is carefully packaged in a presentation gift box, ready for gifting.

Can a coin ring mark my finger?

It can, depending on the metal used in the coin and your skin chemistry.

Coins with a higher silver content are much less likely to leave a mark. If this is a concern, we recommend choosing one of our silver coin rings.

Bronze and copper coins are most likely to leave a temporary mark because of their copper content. Some customers actually prefer copper rings because they believe copper may help relieve arthritis symptoms, although this hasn't been scientifically proven.

If your ring does leave a mark, applying a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inside of the ring can help prevent it.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.

How should I care for my coin ring?

To keep your ring looking its best, we recommend removing it before:

  • Washing your hands

  • Using hand sanitiser

  • Swimming or showering

  • Performing manual work

  • Lifting weights or using gym equipment

These activities can wear the finish more quickly or damage the ring.

Do your coin rings come with a guarantee?

Yes.

Our coin rings are designed to last and are extremely durable. Over time, the dark patina finish may naturally fade with wear. If this happens, we're happy to restore it free of charge.

We also offer free resizing should your ring need adjusting.

Simply contact us to arrange either service.

What is your return policy?

Because every ring is individually handcrafted to your chosen size and specifications, we generally cannot accept returns or offer refunds.

However, your satisfaction is important to us. If there's a problem with your order, please get in touch and we'll always do our best to resolve it.
