Product Overview

The last Summer Olympic Games were held in Tokyo but it wasn't the first time the Japanese city has played host. In 1964 the Summer Games were held in Tokyo for the first time and this Sterling Silver 1000 Yen coin was struck to mark the occasion.

On the outer band of this beautiful coin ring cherry blossoms surround "日本国 千円" meaning "State of Japan 1000 Yen". The inner band has more cherry blossoms along with "1964 TOKYO 1000 YEN 昭和39年" Translation: Year 39 of Shōwa

Celtic Coin Craft handcrafts these 92.5% silver coins into remarkable rings. The ring pictured is a size W (US 11, EU 65) and has a band width of approximately 9.5mm. Your ring will look slightly different depending on what size you choose
