This ring is made from a sterling silver replica coin of a Henry Viii Testoon. The testoon was the original name for a shilling.
The outer band of the Coin Ring reads "HENRIA VIII DI GRΛ ΛGL FRΛ Z HIB REX" meaning "Henry the Eighth by the Grace of God King of England France and Ireland"
The interior band bears the legend "POSVI DEVM ΛDIVTOREM MEVM" which when translated, means "I have made God my helper".
The ring pictured is a size R (US 8.5) and has a band width of approximately 7mm. Your ring will look slightly different depending on what size you choose.
