Product Overview

Minted in sterling silver between 1911 and 1919, The George V Florin (Two Shilling piece) makes a stunning coin ring that retains all the beautiful intricacies of the coin from which it is crafted.

The outer band of the Coin Ring features four ornamental staffs around four beautifully detailed crowns with each resting on a coat of arms. Two of the coat of arms represent England, the others represent Scotland and Ireland. The outer band also bears the words "ONE FLORIN" and the year of mintage.

The interior band bears the legend GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: Dei Gratia Britanniarum Omnium Rex Fidei Defensor Indiae imperatrix, which when translated, means "by the Grace of God King of all British, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".

Rings pictured are from various years, please specify at checkout if you would like a specific year between 1911 & 1919. This ring has a band width of approximately 8.3 mm
