This ring is handcrafted from a 90% silver 100 Franc coin minted in 1988.
The coin features Marianne (a national symbol of the French Republic) wearing a crown of cherubs. When crafted into a ring some of the cherubs remain on the outer band along with "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE".
The inner band of the coin ring bears the year - 1988, and a liberty cap above the word Liberté.
This coin ring has a band width of approximately 9mm. The ring pictured is a size V (US 10.5)(EU 64) but your ring will look slightly different depending on what size you order.
