Product Overview

This unique ring is handcrafted from a 2008 German sterling silver €10 coin, minted to commemorate the 125th birthday of renowned novelist and writer Franz Kafka.

The outer band features part of Kafka's portrait, his name, and his birth and death years. The inner band displays "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND 10 EURO 2008."

Adding to its significance, the edge of the ring bears one of Kafka’s most famous quotes: "EIN KÄFIG GING EINEN VOGEL SUCHEN," which translates to "A cage was looking for a bird."

The ring shown is a size X (US 11.5, EU 66) with a band width of approximately 10 mm. Each ring is individually crafted, so its appearance may vary slightly depending on the size you choose.
